One of the great European techno labels period. It is hard not to talk about it in the past tense with such a hugely important back catalogue. Early on it managed to perfectly balance waltzing in the unavoidably huge but welcome shadow of the major American cities without being totally slavish to their youthful legacies either. Quality European acts shared the limelight too with some of the most no nonsense techno/acid/trance 12"s and LP's around. The fact that it was also run by a female in an unfortunately all too male dominated scene made it even more of a label to cherish. Of course the wonderful thing is that most of these positive things can equally be said of the label now. Absolute respect!
