- Thomas Köner, Perc, Ulrich Schnauss and more feature on the first release on the new label Krake.
Berlin's Killekill crew are kicking off their new Krake imprint with a compilation called Krake 001.
The new label takes its name from Krake Festival, which Killekill launched back in 2010 with a stated aim of showcasing "strictly challenging artists, no bullshit, no boredom." Krake 001 features tracks from 15 acts who played the festival last year, most of which are previously unreleased. Thomas Köner, Perc and Pole are all on hand, along with the duos Cassegrain and Lakker. Ulrich Schnauss, Dadub and Tim Exile have each provided live tracks culled from their performances at Krake 2012. The compilation is being released on CD and vinyl.
