- The Parisian label's next release is a full-length from Stephane Laporte.
An LP of leftfield electronics from Stephane Laporte will arrive through Antinote this month.
Fourrure Sounds is the French label's second full-length, following D.K.'s Drop, which landed back in June. It's Laporte's first appearance on Anitnote, and he joins a cluster of artists that includes Syracuse, Geena, Albinos and Iueke. The French artist has vocal, production and instrumental credits on a number of rock and experimental records dating back to 2003—he has also release music as Domotic and Modul, the latter in collaboration with Miguel Constantino.
There's a filmic streak running through Fourrure Sounds's 11 tracks, with stylistic nods to the sparse compositions found on OSTs, early electronica and library music. You can listen to clips of the record over at Clone's distribution website.
