The South African DJ will make seven stops in January.
Black Coffee is preparing for a headlining tour of North America that kicks off on January 15th.
Black Coffee, real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo, recently joined the ranks of Ibiza royalty, spinning soulful house grooves alongside Chez Damier and Ellen Allien at the island's much-loved Circoloco party this year. Last month he also made his Fabric debut in London. He's done all of that while keeping one foot on the ground in his native South Africa, where he's something of a national celebrity (as RA discovered in our recent Origins documentary), playing regular gigs across Durban, Capetown and Johannesburg.
Maphumulo will head to North America next month, kicking off his seven-stop itinerary at Los Angeles' new pop-up club No Filter on January 15th. Next up is SF on the 16th, followed by a Montreal gig and an appearance in Boston. He'll play Flash in DC on the 22nd, then Miami's Electric Pickle on the 23rd, closing out the tour with a show at Resolute in NYC.
Tickets for the New York stop are on RA.
