- SCKT04, the first release on the vinyl-only imprint in two years, will hit shelves in March.
German techno producer Markus Suckut is preparing a new solo record on his vinyl-only label SCKT.
SCKT, home to six records—three solo EPs from Suckut along with three remix packs featuring the likes of DVS1, Bleak and Albert Van Abbe—has been quiet for two years. Suckut himself, meanwhile, has been anything but, with close to a dozen releases, including collaborative EPs with Johannes Heil on their Exile imprint, issued in the interim. (He also appears on the tracklist for Alan Fitzpatrick's upcoming fabric mix.) The next SCKT transmission, SCKT04, is an "homage to Tokyo," and the first 300 copies will come on black and white marbled vinyl.
