Marea Stamper will embark on her biggest stateside tour to date in November.
The Black Madonna has seven tour stops booked for the US in November.
She's been busy criss-crossing the European festival circuit this year, as RA learned in last month's Between The Beatsfilm. Now she's gearing up for her most extensive stateside tour yet.
"In recent years, we have seen incredible growth and vibrance reemerge from the American underground," she writes on Facebook. "This November, I will be joined by the people I admire most from this community, in the very best venues throughout the United States."
It starts at the Middlesex Lounge in Boston on November 3rd, where she'll play solo all night. Next up is DC and Pittsburgh for Hot Mass, then back home to smartbar in Chicago where she'll be joined by good friends Jason Kendig (of Honey Soundsystem) and Mike Servito.
Her Brooklyn gig on the 12th is with Servito and Honey Dijon at Analog BKNY, then she'll head to San Francisco to play on a stacked lineup for As You Like It—Servito and Kendig are on again, as are DJ Heather, Saville and Steve Mizek, among others. The last stop is Los Angeles on the 19th.
