- The Scottish producer will release the debut album on Trus'me's Prime Numbers imprint this fall.
Linkwood will release the debut album on Manchester's Prime Numbers imprint.
Trus'me's Prime Numbers label hasn't been around long, but they've quickly made a name for themselves with a sterling cast of new talents and excellent A&R'ing of known quantities. Move D, Actress and Reggie Dokes have all had material released, but it will be Nick Moore, AKA Linkwood, who will have the honor of putting out the first LP in the imprint's short history. Those who listened to Moore's podcast effort—in collaboration with House of Traps—will know exactly what to expect from the album, entitled System: There's plenty of slo-motion funk, boogie and disco that sounds beamed in straight from 1978. Singer, comedian and recent Still Going collaborator Reggie Watts turns up on "Tears," while frequent associate Fudge Fingas provides keys on a number of tunes as well.
