Pantha Du Prince, Junior Boys and Mount Kimbie have all been billed for this summer's electronic fest in Southern France.
Les Siestes Electroniques have announced the bill for their eighth annual festival, scheduled for the end of June in Toulouse, France.
This year's program boasts a concise blend of danceable and avant-garde electronic music, housed in a variety of indoor and outdoor venues around the city. The action begins on Wednesday the 23rd at the Garonne Theater with experimental performances by Keiji Haino and Kawabata, followed the next night by some moody techno courtesy of Pantha Du Prince. Those itching for a proper rave will get their fill on Friday, as Joakim and Jackson & His Computer Band let loose in a "disused industrial building" somewhere in the center of the city. The rest of the festival unfurls in the woods, where Mount Kimbie, Machine Drum, Junior Boys and others will play free shows on outdoor stages.
