The Norwegian disco DJ will play five parties in the US and Canada, starting tonight in Atlanta.
Todd Terje begins a two-week tour of North America this week.
Terje has been a cornerstone of Norway's cosmic disco scene for years, but his profile shot up even more recently thanks to the Ragysh EP, which came out this past April on Running Back. After a couple of West Coast dates in March, he returns to the US this weekend for a string of dates on the other side of the continent, beginning tonight at the Sound Table in Atlanta. Next Wednesday he'll be in Cambridge, Massachusetts for a Re:set party, and after a day off will head to Chicago for a night at Smart Bar (which will no doubt serve as an after party for the Pitchfork Music Festival). Next up will be the tour's one stop in Canada, at the Evening Standard in Toronto.
The tour winds down in New York: after a delayed visa forced him to cancel his appearance at Mister Saturday Night earlier this year, Terje is confirmed (with visa in hand) to take over that party's day-time counterpart, Mister Sunday. Tickets for that one can be found here on RA.
