James Holden, Skream, Dyed Soundorom and Visionquest are all scheduled for appearances before the season's end on NYE.
Bristol event series In:Motion will wrap up their latest season on New Year's Eve.
In:Motion will continue with their weekly Friday/Saturday events format until December 10th—they'll then enter into a brief hiatus in preparation for their New Year's Eve celebration. The said party brings together an eclectic mix of acts, ranging from the big room drum & bass of headliner High Contrast, to the wide-ranging house exploits of Visionquest (it's unclear which of the four will be appearing at this stage) and the disco/house crossover sound of Tensnake. A large local contingent has also been billed, including (among many others) Redlight, Eats Everything and Just Jack's Tom Rio.
There are, however, six parties to go before thoughts turn to Hogmanay. This coming Friday, UK festival favourite BLOC will head to Motion. Dubstep and its variants will be pushed on the Subloaded stage, with Joker, Artwork (replacing the previously billed Martyn) 2562, Illum Sphere and Gemmy; James Holden and Border Community brings Nathan Fake, Fairmont and Luke Abbott; and Joe Hart, Al Tourettes and Luke Vibert are among those representing team BLOC.
RBMA and local party starters Futureboogie oversee things the following night (Saturday 26th). Henrik Schwarz and Crazy P will play live in room one, while Maya Jane Coles, Julio Bashmore, Appleblim, Horsemeat Disco and Bonobo will be among those getting behind the decks.
Other highlights include Skream and AraabMUZIK spinning for Shit The Bed on Saturday 3rd December, and Cocoon hosting a label showcase the following Saturday, with Tiefschwarz, Onur Özer, Dyed Soundorom, Dinky, Guti, Kyle Hall and Shonky all putting in appearances.
Tickets for all of In:motion's upcoming parties are still available to purchase from RA Tickets.
