- The American producer will release his third full-length in April on Carpark Records.
Toro Y Moi will release an album entitled June 2009 on Carpark Records in April.
The forthcoming album from Chaz Bundick is actually a retrospective and contains production that predates his prior two full-lengths. The material is previously unreleased and was recorded by the American producer in (you guessed it) June 2009. The title refers to a period of Bundick's life at college when he began experimenting with music software and sampling. According to the presser the LP contains "...lo-fi tracks chronicling his version of college grad indecisions...[and] an artist not knowing where to turn once stripped of the structure of school life." As you might expect, June 2009 contains rawer and more naive arrangements than the electronic productions that Bundick would release in the following years.
