The Swedish producer and DJ will play a few dates in North America this month.
Axel Boman will play five shows in North America towards the end of September.
Boman first came to prominence with 2010's "Purple Drank" on Pampa Records, which showcased an off-kilter, quirky house sound. Since then, he and his Studio Barnhus crew (also the Stockholm label that he helps to run) have received a steadily increasing amount of attention for that very style, including a feature here on RA. Easily the most visible of his Barnhus partners, Boman will embark on his second transatlantic journey this year for a series of dates culminating in Seattle's Decibel Festival.
First up is the sole East Coast appearance, a Beats In Space-sponsored Studio Barnhus party at Santos Party House featuring his label comrades Kornél Kovács and Peter Nordkvist, as well as BiS boss Tim Sweeney. Five days later (and after an appearance on the Beats In Space radio show), Boman will hit the West Coast, starting with Housepitality's second anniversary party in San Francisco on the 26th. He'll head north to Vancouver on the 28th for a Love Dancing party at The Waldorf, and then his tour will end with two separate appearances at Decibel. On the 29th, he'll play the "Global Selektors 3" party at Re-Bar with an Alga-Rhythms boat party the next day, and for both of those he's billed along with MANIK.
