Daedelus announces Magical Properties bus tour

- The L.A. producer will bring Ryan Hemsworth, Salva and Two Fresh on the road with him in February and March.
- Daedelus has announced a Magical Properties bus tour traveling through the US (and Toronto) through February and March. The prolific Alfred Darlington is a veteran of L.A.'s instrumental hip-hop scene, representing the more esoteric end of the spectrum with his unique productions on labels like Ninja Tune and Plug Research. In 2009 Darlington founded the Magical Properties imprint, and it's under that banner that he'll head out on his latest adventure: a comprehensive bus tour lasting more than 25 dates. The tour bills Canadian hip-hop hot property Ryan Hemsworth—the star of a Breaking Through feature here on RA last year—as support for all dates, plus Body High boss and L.A. resident Samo Soundboy for most of them. It begins on February 21st in Chicago, and from the 27th through March 10th they'll bring Friends of Friends man Salva on board as well. Denver producer Two Fresh will take over from Salva from March 18th onward. The busy tour bus will hit most of the American hot spots, as well as less common cities like St. Louis, Lawrence, Kansas, Breckenridge, Tempe, Pomona and two Canadian stops in Toronto and Vancouver. The tour's Washington DC stop, on March 6th, will see Shlohmo replace Samo Soundboy, and on the 9th Daedelus and Hemsworth will play the Buku Music Art Project in New Orleans.
