Tim Hecker, Pole, Hype Williams and Demdike Stare will also be playing gigs outside of Unsound Adelaide.
A number of artists playing at Unsound Adelaide will also be playing other Australia shows, with Daniel Lopatin AKA Oneohtrix Point Never making appearances in four other cities.
The collaboration between Polish festival Unsound and Adelaide Festival will bring a collection of cutting edge experimental artists to the country over the next few weeks, and Lopatin's tour is the most extensive of the bunch. The Brooklyn-based producer's time outside of South Australia begins with an Astral People hosted night at Sydney's Civic Underground on March 15th, followed by a double-bill show with Werkdiscs boss Actress at The Bakery in Perth on the 16th. He heads to Melbourne on March 17th to play at The Toff In Town, supported by Wooshie and Angel Eyes, and completes his trip up at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Art in Brisbane on the 18th as part of the Institute of Modern Art's ongoing free microMONO series.
Some of the other acts are scattered over various dates and cities, starting with Hype Williams man Dean Blunt performing live at The Liberty Social in Melbourne on March 16th, as presented by Kakkle Tapes. Two nights later, on Monday the 18th, Manchester duo Demdike Stare will also make their way to Melbourne for an audiovisual set at The Toff In Town along with Dead Boomers, Kane Ikin and James Pianta.
Following Lopatin's Brisbane show, the IMA will host another free event on March 21st, again at the Judith Wright Centre, as part of their more experimental MONO series. Ambient Montreal artist Tim Hecker will share the bill with accomplished sound designer and mastering engineer Stefan Betke AKA Pole. Betke will also be making an appearance in Sydney on the 22nd for a night of sound and light at the York Street Anglican Church, where he will be joined by Melbourne's Galapagoose and Hinterlandt when doors open at 7:30 PM.
