The Sheffield festival has announced first details of this year's edition.
The 2013 Tramlines festival will take place in Sheffield from July 19th through 21st.
This year two nights will be curated by South Yorkshire native Toddla T. In total more than 700 acts will play across 70 venues in the city. The first wave of announcements sees US luminaries in Maurice Fulton and Theo Parrish billed to play on Friday the 19th, with support coming from Forgemasters (the veteran trio featuring Warp Records co-founder Robert Gordon) and respected cratedigger Chris Duckenfield. On Saturday there's a more soundsystem-focused bill, with Toddla T confirmed to play alongside DJ EZ, David Rodigan, Dub Phizix & Strategy, Stylo G and Dre Skull. More artists will be added to the lineup in the coming weeks and months.
