- Deleted/Fool, the LA artist's first full release, will come out on Friends Of Friends next February.
Jerome LOL (of LOL Boys fame) will release his first physical EP on February 4th.
LA's Jerome Potter first made waves as part of LOL Boys, his internet-savvy collaboration with Canadian producer Markus Garcia (who now performs as Heartbeat(s)). They were known for playful takes on house, hip-hop and pop music, including plenty of bootleg edits, but they split up last year following their well-received Changes EP. Potter has dropped a few mixes and self-released singles since then, and he's also been busy running his Body High imprint with Samo Sound Boy.
Potter will return to Friends Of Friends for his first full-fledged solo EP, Deleted/Fool, which will come out on vinyl and digital. Like the last LOL Boys drop for the label, the four-tracker makes prominent use of vocalists, including a return apperance from Angelina Lucero as well as two spots from Sara Z. The sound is a familiar one if you've been following along this whole time: steadily-cruising house music featuring plenty of jazzy drum sounds.
You can stream "Always" from the EP here. There's also a wealth of other Jerome material available for streaming on his SoundCloud page.
