Embrace plots out WMC events

- Embrace Presents has finalized its schedule of events for WMC, taking place in Miami in late March. The Toronto-based promoter always pulls out all the stops for their trips to Miami every year for WMC, and 2014 isn't any different. They'll throw over 15 events in just six days, taking place at a variety of venues that includes Trade, Mekka, Lmnt and Ice Palace West, with shows that run the gamut from deep house to drum & bass and harder dubstep. Marc Houle, Claptone and Flux Pavilion are among the headliners for Wednesday, while some of the showcases on the schedule for Thursday include the Dirtybird BBQ at Cafeina Wynwood on Thursday, March 27th, featuring all the usual suspects—Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Eats Everything, Catz 'N Dogz et al. That night, Sasha will hold an event for his Last Night On Earth label at Trade, while downstairs Jimmy Edgar will turn the venue into a "party temple" to show off his Ultramajic imprint, bringing along Danny Daze and Matrixxman for the fun. Highlights for Friday include Art Department's Social Experiment at Trade (with Dennis Ferrer and Deniz Kurtel), Maya Jane Coles and Kim Ann Foxman at Cafeina Wynwood along with an Annie Mac presents night at Lmnt. Maceo Plex and Dusky will each host nights at Trade on Saturday. The former has Barnt and others on deck for the Deep Ellum party, while the latter UK duo have booked Midland and Matthew Dear. Boys Noize has also programmed a show at Lmnt, but details for that one are still forthcoming. Finally, Embrace's run will wrap up with the annual Last Resort at Ice Palace West, a massive party that runs from noon on Sunday till late Monday morning.
