The Spice Cellar announces Vivid shows

- The Sydney club will host ten Spice Spektrum events throughout the winter festival from late May.
- The Spice Cellar have announced Spice Spektrum, a colourful series of events in conjunction with Vivid Sydney. The annual citywide festival of light, music and ideas always includes a broad programme of events around town, away from the main hub of the Opera House and Circular Quay. This year, for the first time, Spice will be involved in the extended programming, and a number of international and interstate guests will be passing through for the occasion. The first overseas visitor, German producer Schlepp Geist, will be dropping in on May 29th for a live set with Space Junk, aboutjack and Antoine Vice of the Mantra Collective. The following night, Brisbane regular and Mitzi band member Jad & The Ladyboy will be down for Soft & Slow. On the 31st the club will welcome Panorama Bar resident Prosumer for a set with Robbie Lowe and Slow Blow on support. Thursday the 5th of June sees New York disco legend Nicky Siano hit the Cellar for a dinner discussion followed by a Studio 54 dance. Rising Melbourne duo Sleep D will make the trip up on the 6th to perform their newly developed live show, then the series wraps up on June 7th with Berlin DJ and Moodmusic artist Benny Grauer.
