- The Vancouver producer will release a tape on 1080p next week.
LNRDCROY will drop his first release on 1080p next Tuesday, May 20th.
The Vancouver-hailing artist, real nam Leon Campbell, recently contributed to the third release on Montreal's fledgling Forbidden Planet imprint, alongside Boreal. Now he's striking out on hometown label 1080p Collection for a full-length cassette of his own productions, Much Less Normal, which a press release describes as "Campbell's impressions of the city and surrounding natural environs... with ultra vivid imagery of cloud-covered islands, overcast Vancouver days [and] bustling Chinatown streets." It's reportedly inspired by ambient techno, classic trance and electronic pioneers from the region. You can stream "I Met You On BC Ferries" below, or check out Campbell's recent podcast for densinghour here.
