- Featuring Vessel, El Kid and more, the quadruple-vinyl package pulls together some of the label's cassette-only releases.
Bristol label No Corner has revealed details of a compilation called From The Reels.
To date the label has specialised in releasing experimental tapes from local artists—Kahn & Neek, El Kid, Jabu—alongside a couple of outliers, like San Francisco artist Federsen. No Corner's first compilation presses up some of the label's cassette-only material onto three heavyweight 12-inches and one fluorescent seven-inch. As Tape Echo note, some of the tracks have been "merged into one long groove" to maintain the flow of the cassette format.
The three 12-inches each contain a previously released tape: El Kid's Labyrinths EP, Filter Dread's Space Loops and Modern Malaise by Lily. The 7-inch features a Vessel remix of El Kid on the A-side and a surprise bonus track on the flip.
