Pacific Rhythm Sessions hosts Awesome Tapes From Africa

- The LA selector will play the next edition of the record store and label's party series this weekend.
- The next Pacific Rhythm Sessions will go down this Saturday, January 17th. The Sessions launched last year as a series of warehouse parties but eventually moved over to Gastown's 303 Columbia. They've hosted Floating Points, Patrick Mocan, Numero Group and DJ McBoing Boing since. LA resident Awesome Tapes From Africa will headline the fifth Session, fresh off the announcement of the long-awaited Ata Kak reissue on his label of the same name. Pacific Rhythm—an online record store—also recently launched its own self-titled imprint. Check out our review of the first release here.
