Brian d'Souza will return south this month for two weekends of gigs.
Auntie Flo will play gigs in five Australian cities in May.
In February Brian d'Souza launched the Highlife World Series, a project with Esa for Huntleys & Palmers that sees the pair travelling the globe to record region-inspired collaborations involving local musicians. For this tour he'll be in solo DJ mode, bringing his Afro-infused rhythms down for the last two weekends of the Australian autumn. First up is a lé Club show at Perth's Connections Nightclub on May 22nd, where d'Souza will share the bill with Kyle Hall, before he heads to Revolver Upstairs in Melbourne for The Late Show on the 23rd.
Sydney crew HAHA will host d'Souza on the 29th at Sydney's Goodgod Small Club with Dreems and residents D&D (Dean Dixon and Dave Fernandes). On the afternoon of the 30th he jets to Byron Bay to party with Atypical at La La Land. The tour ends on the night of May 30th in Brisbane with a Wildlife Recordings and Kush Club gig at Capulet which also features Basic Soul Unit and locals Simon Bird, Percy Miracles and Rikki Newton.
