Subversive will host both events over August's Pride weekend.
Subversive will throw two parties over Vancouver's Pride weekend in early August.
The local techno crew are pulling off a special double-header for the long weekend. First up, in collaboration with Matt Santoro and Seattle's Nark Magazine, they'll bring Chicago's The Black Madonna to the Fox Cabaret on Saturday, August 1st. She'll be supported by Subversive residents Myte and Nancy Dru, as well as Nark (who is a resident at Seattle gay bar The Eagle) and Vancouver local Rennie Foster.
The next evening, the party moves over to the new Beaumont space for a night with Honey Soundsystem, one of San Francisco's most prominent gay DJ crews (who just relaunched their label). This one will feature members Jackie House and Josh Cheon, with local support from Midnight Vulture.
