Russell Haswell will release a new album for Diagonal Records on September 18th.
As Sure As Night Follows Day is Haswell's second full-length for the UK label run by Powell and Jaime Williams, after last year's 37 Minute Workout. Diagonal says this one is his "most coherent yet varied burst of activity to date," bringing together techno, death metal and "extreme computer music." There are also some floor-friendly tracks, with Jeff Mills and Hardwax (Robert Hood's label before M-Plant) cited as core influences.
