- The German producer will put out his second full-length this June.
Lake People has signed to Japanese label Mule Musiq for his second album, Phase Transition.
The Leipzig and Berlin-based producer (real name Martin Enke) emerged in the first half of the decade with well-received EPs on labels like Krakatau Records, Guy Gerber's Rumors and Permanent Vacation, who handled the release of his 2015 full-length debut, Purposely Uncertain Field. The label says the new one was written at home and on the road and was recorded using "analog synthesizers, UAD, and other creative interfaces." Phase Transition, which Mule says bears the influence of deep house pioneer Larry Heard, follows Enke's Break The Pattern 12-inch for Uncanny Valley.
