- We Are What You Think We Are is out this fall.
New York label Lost Soul Enterprises is releasing its first compilation, We Are What You Think We Are, starting later this month.
It's a three-part affair that includes tracks from local New York City artists as well as guests at the party series of the same name. Midwest acid house producer Jared Wilson, Golden Donna, Bergsonist, Shawn O'Sullivan collaborator Rose E. Kross, Shit And Shine and Stallone The Reducer are among those featured.
Each disc of the compilation focuses on a different theme. The first "highlights the influences of synthwave and post-punk electronics," while the second focuses on acid and "overdriven electro" and the third is primarily inspired by industrial music.
The label was founded by Richard Gamble back in 2013 with an aim towards highlighting the music and aesthetic of New York City's local techno scene.
