The venue has been forced temporarily after an incident outside the club last October.
Paris nightclub La Machine Du Moulin Rouge has been temporarily closed by local authorities.
The venue sent out a press release today stating the Parisian Prefecture Of Police has closed the club between January 14th and 28th. The closure is a response to an incident that took place outside the club on October 28th last year. (Precise details of the incident have not been confirmed.) Affected parties have either been moved, postponed or reprogrammed, the club says. A Return To Disorder showcase featuring Helena Hauff and Umwelt has been moved to Le Trabendo, as has an event showcasing artists from the Ilian Tape and Whities labels.
Meanwhile, another Parisian club, Zig Zag, has closed its doors. The space had been open for over four years, hosting the likes of Soundstream and ARK alongside larger acts including Sven Väth, Kerri Chandler and Etienne de Crécy.
