- The Japanese producer is about to release his first full-length in five years.
Kaoru Inoue will release a new album next month, Em Paz, on Groovement Organic Series, a sub-label of Groovement.
It will be the the first full-length offering from the veteran Japanese artist (AKA Chari Chari) since 2013's A Missing Myth Of The Future. It also marks his first appearance on the Lisbon label's live instrumentation offshoot. The label likens the music to that of Brian Eno or Jon Hassell, calling Em Paz "a celestial ambient collection that will drive us through a beautiful imaginary place where the quest for peace is central."
The bulk of Inoue's catalogue, which stretches back to the mid-90s, has been released on Seeds And Ground—originally a Crue-L Records subsidiary, now independently run by Inoue—and ranges from house and techno to ambient, acoustic and acid jazz.
