- !7K, the new label from !K7, is handling the release, which is out in May.
Henrik Schwarz has collaborated with Grammy Award-winning jazz and pop orchestra Metropole Orkest and its conductor, Jules Buckley, on a neo-classical album called Scripted Orkestra.
The eight-track LP will come out on May 25th through 7K!, the new neo-classical label from Berlin's !K7. Schwarz worked with Buckley and the 52-strong ensemble to convert his electronic compositions into works with live instrumentation.
"Some say orchestra music is dying, that orchestras are dying. I believe they are about to be reborn," says Schwarz. "Computers and technology are taking over our lives. People have been hiding behind their screens, but there's a yearning for more human interaction. With orchestras, the human element is undeniable. I think there are some very interesting developments happening in modern composition. It's the start of something new."
Listen to the first single, "You're A Fireball."
