- Kittin is her original moniker from over 20 years ago.
Miss Kittin—now shortened to Kittin—has an album coming out in November via her label, Nobody's Bizzness.
Cosmos, her first album since 2013, sees the French artist step away from traditional songwriting to focus on "the essence of chords and textures," the label says. She's releasing it under the name Kittin, which is the original name she picked at the outset of her career over two decades ago. (In fact promoters often added the prefix "Miss" without her consent, and the name eventually stuck.)
"By liberating herself from the constraints of formal structure," the label continues, "she opens the door to a new set of aesthetics, exploring her influences without restraint."
She released a single under the name Kittin in June called 1993 EACID.
