  • Len Faki has compiled another ambient compilation on his label Figure Music. Out January 10th, Open Space Vol. 2 features tracks from Wata Igarashi, Earthen Sea, KMRU, Can Love Be Synth, Max Cooper, Laraaji and Faki himself. According to Figure, the "Open Space series aims to open up possibilities for artists to freely pursue their creativity in a completely undefined area, a space for exploration and connection." With two exceptions, the music on Open Space Vol. 2 is all ambient. Best known for releasing purist techno, Figure has explored other avenues in recent years. There was the first Open Space compilation in November 2020, plus the LF RMX series and music from John Beltran's Placid Angles alias. Listen to clips of Open Space Vol. 2 here.
