- Lasting four days, the 500-KM voyage from London to Amsterdam will also raise money to help Ukrainian refugees.
Bridges For Music's ADE Cycle, a 500-KM charity voyage from London to Amsterdam, is returning for its sixth edition this October.
Run in partnership with Choose Love, this year's edition will raise money for both Ukrainian refugees displaced by the ongoing war with Russia and underserved communities in South Africa. Previously, the cycle has raised more than €200,000 to help Bridges For Music set up a learning centre in Langa, a township in Cape Town.
"As momentum from the general public donating to Ukraine begins to slow down, the crisis continues and we are providing everything from food to shelter and desperately needed medical supplies," said Choose Love cofounder Philli Boyle. "This collaboration will help ensure we can continue to do this work."
The 2022 cycle will begin in London on Sunday, October 16th, before passing through Bruges and Brabant and arriving in Amsterdam for ADE on the 19th.
Launched in 2014 by Resident Advisor, ADE Cycle is now run by Bridges For Music. Past riders include Richie Hawtin, Rebekah and Joris Voorn, plus industry heads from fabric, Beatport, Pioneer DJ, Awakenings and more. RA will have a riding team at this year's edition.
There are still spaces to join as a rider in 2022. The early bird price of €800 includes accommodation, breakfast, energy-boosting snacks, official ADE kit, bike return to London, luggage transport, a welcome lunch at ADE and an ADE Pro Pass (worth €500).
