In partnership with RA, a panel will take place each night of the festival.
New York's Wire Festival has announced two panels taking place in 2023 in partnership with Resident Advisor.
The second edition will continue last year's theme of hosting talks that tackle some of the industry's most pressing issues. On Friday, May 19th, RA's Chloe Lula will moderate a conversation with DVS1 on Aslice, his platform for distributing royalties to producers based on their tracks being played in DJ sets.
The following day, May 20th, Knockdown Center director and festival co-director Tyler Myers will lead a discussion on US artist visas and their prohibitive cost. Myers will be joined by Herrensauna's Salome, Joe Sigmund from Surefire Agency and Tea Abashidze, also of Wire Festival.
Both panels will be hosted at Knockdown Center at 8 PM before the festival begins two hours later. The nighttime lineup includes SPFDJ, WTCHCRFT, CEM and Jeff Mills. Find out more in the event listing below.
