  • Bridges for Music's ADE Cycle is returning for its seventh edition this October. The 550km charity cycle from London to Amsterdam will continue to raise money for the Bridges for Music Academy in South Africa's Langa township, as well as young students living in under-resourced communities. Previous editions have raised more than £250,000. ADE Cycle 2023 will feature teams from the likes of Resident Advisor, Pioneer DJ, Sonos and Defected. The starting line is RA's East London office. Launched by RA in 2014, ADE Cycle is now run by Bridges for Music. Past riders include Richie Hawtin, Rebekah and Joris Voorn. Bridges for Music also recently launched a record label, BFM Records, which provides entrepreneurship programmes plus the use of a recording studio to young people who have experienced trauma at home and in their communities. The first releases came from Eastern Cape duo Umgido, Frigid Armadillo and Cape Town producer Rudydadj. Find out more about the ADE Cycle 2023—including how to sign up—here.
