UK style magazines will be out in full force to catch this summer’s iconic fashion moment at the unusually monikered Tales of the Jackalope, an intimate twenty-four hour paean to hedonistic times set in the grounds of a stately home in South Derbyshire.
Presented by world-weary style franchise Vice Magazine and promoters My Beautiful City, TOTJ will line up over sixty acts including dance draws Justice, 2ManyDJs, Mylo, Trevor Jackson, Riton and Will Saul. While skinny jeans, vintage T-shirts and large sunglasses are expected to be de riguer, the promise of 'posh toilets and cheap drinks' may be enough to coax discerning nu-wave dance fans and indie fashionistas out of the city for this inaugural summer soiree. It's also highly likely to provide material for Vice’s Do's and Dont's photographers, so dress up or dress down and enjoy the spectacle.
The festival starts at noon on Saturday 8 June and runs through to Sunday with camping optional. Tickets limited to 2,500 and available through Ticketweb.
