  • Glasgow's Riverside Festival won't go ahead this year. The team broke the news on Instagram last Friday, May 3rd, citing "lower-than-expected sales and increased infrastructure, staff, transport and artist costs, all in an over-saturated event landscape," as the reasons for cancellation. Instead, the festival will host two Glasgow shows on August 31st and September 1st, details of which are TBA. Launched in 2013, Riverside Festival 2024 was due to take place in the grounds of Riverside Museum on May 25th and 26th. The likes of Green Velvet, Josey Rebelle, Ben Klock, Eliza Rose and Dax J had previously been confirmed for the event. Read Riverside's post in full.
