- Joshua Idehen's bold, poetic musings take center stage over a beefy electronic production by the South London duo.
- "Naija flow by way of the streets.," raps Joshua Idehen, addressing the Mike Skinner similarities before we have to. Him and LV have teamed up for the first time since 2014 with "Ancestors," the first single from their upcoming album, Ends. The production is distinctly London, but gems like "Ancestors barefoot on hot coal, I barefoot yellow lego," give you snapshots of a Nigerian man in limbo between his heritage and his current surroundings. Idehen drops a ton of witty one-liners with a spoken-word swagger. They wizz past but are surprisingly heavy if you manage to catch them.
