- The Korean artist goes cloud-rap, sort of.
- There's an irresistible stutter to the instrumental of "Y DON'T U" that should be familiar to any long-time fan of A$AP Rocky, or cloud-rap more generally: the signature sound of Clams Casino, whose gift for evocative melody and hip-hop skitter shine bright even on this relatively simple track. Over the weedy, almost stoned-sounding beat, the Korean star deadpans: "Why don't you love me, my baby," sounding somewhere between pissed-off and apathetic. It captures her unique, off-the-wall energy better than most any of her recent tracks, and packs a whole lot of personality—from her and the producers—in just over two minutes.
