- The phrase "new Livity Sound dropped" just got even more exciting.
- A new Livity Sound announcement is always exciting, but this one, a collaboration between Azu Tiwaline and Al Wootton, feels even juicier than usual. This first track is certainly promising. "Blue Dub" is a simmering stew of dub techno elements that starts as a skeletal, crackly pulse—like those classic records on ~scape—while eerie creaks and other sound effects paint an unsettling background. The duo gradually add percussive layers, the kind of subtle snares and hand drums you'd expect, until it starts to sound like deconstructed dub techno. Even at their most subdued, the duo's music is ineffably intriguing.
