- Bangkok producer DOTT gets the Midwest Fresh makeover on this trippy house number.
- It's not totally fair to say that Titonton Duvante is having a second act—the Ohio lifer has consistently released great music for over two decades. Still, it's been a pleasure to watch his star rise as he finally seems to be getting his dues. His presence on the international circuit has coincided with a number of reissues of his best records, but there hasn't been a full Duvante EP since 2016. This release isn't that, but Duvante's flip of Bangkok producer DOTT's "Puppy Love," on promising Pakistani label Jugaar Records, will scratch that itch. While the original unspools gradually, Duvante adds a bit of electro paranoia with pads pitched in the mix and a tinny key solo that's less sultry summer pool party and more hangover night sweats.
